Is there any way that something can be added to our items we place for sale in the market to tell us how long they have been there?

With the low margins on some of the items for sale, it would be nice to see if we are losing money by sitting on this inventory compared to if we had left the money we paid for it in the bank.

Example: you decide to put some extasee on sale for $3099. If it sits on the market for more than 4 days, you just lost money on this because the interest earned would have been 95.40 in the bank. At this point it would be best to take it off the market and use it yourself to rob someone.

Anyway, just a suggestion. Thanks.

You want to add a feature to the game which serves no real purpose except to save yourself a couple dollars? I understand this section is meant for feedback and suggestions, but please consider the costs/benefits of your suggestions.

I'm no programming expert, but i think that would really slow the game down, since for every visit to a category in the item market, it would be necessary to check how long the items had been there. And the speed of the game would definitely be more important to me.

Not just for the few buck factor, I only used the current price of extasee for an example, its basic retail strategy. If you know how many turns you have of your inventory in any given cycle, you can predict how much you need to buy and whether or not you are charging a price that others are willing to pay.

Given the fact that some items simply do not fetch a huge mark up in the market it would also help to determine what you should be selling, eventually driving the cost of those items back up if nobody is selling them. Supply and demand. Simple economics.

Then maybe you should be keeping this information for yourself so you can get an advantage in the market.

While I'm sure that the code is already there tracking what item was put up, by who and when it was added. I don't see a strong reason to implement a feature showing people when they added their items to the market. It might be nice to have, but I see no hurry to add it.

Erm...I still think you are doing too much work for very very little gain... At this point, unless you have access to Bogota or higher, you aren't going to have any significant markups regardless.. again we are talking about a couple hundred dollars
