do u guys know what based the success rates of busting sum1? (eg. high iq -better busts) Or is it all-random?

I think i got some tips from vp member here which the jail bust seem like lesser guard petrolling around on 19th and 59th seconds.. once you match with the timing that on the clock to the game time... you will be able to bust the ppls out from jail.. it is my opinions so far i got almost 85 % success rate depends on how fast you click on the buttion "Bust".. But off course the 91 minutes jailer and above or red fonts still not able available to bust them. :D

yes random tho i would say its a lot higher then just 5% more like 1/3

Uh, I'm gonna play Goldilocks here and say its actually around 10-15%. 33% seems a bit too high, at least in my experience.

And I'm very very skeptical about the better bust rate at particular time slots. I think your sample size is really small or you are assuming the unsuccessful ones were not done at the correct time or something.

nah 25-33% never takes more then 4 trys before i bust someone and usealy just 2-3

The odds are lower than 25%. In my last 4 attempts, I got busted all the time.
Anyone knows if the time the target is in jail has any influence on the success rate?

2nd update: 6th attempt, 6th bust.

I think the busting system should depend on IQ, because some people are lucky and some have the highest ammount of bad luck, like me. And this way is not fair for everyone.

And the funny thing is that 6 people tried to bust me (they got me inside for 62 min) and all of them were busted too.

When I reach 10, I quit trying to bust people out of jail.

4th update: 8th attempt and 8th bust.
This is getting ridiculous!

5th attempt: 9th attempt and 9th bust.
Soon, that 33% won't be even 10%.

blah blah blah i was not talking about how many people it takes to get busted i was talking about how many trys i have had to do in general to bust someone out then its very much possible that they have gotten 100 people trying to bust them allready

My 10th and final attempt. Obviously, my 10th bust in a row. Therefore, the chances are lower than 9%.
Thank you everyone that also tried to bust me, but I won't do this anymore because it's not worthed.
I would rather bail people after using the energy to rob others.
It's just too bad that busting people is included in the achievements!

Update: I couldn't resist and I tried one more time because I just got busted out. Result? 62 minutes to spend in jail.
So, the odds drop to below 8,5%.

This proves NOTHING. If a baseball player goes 1 for 10 in his next 10 at bats, it does not mean his odds of getting a hit are 10%. You can't calculate odds based off a couple tries, so please stop updating us on your failed attempts.

And if busting was based on IQ, how would the newer players ever succeed?? The people with higher IQ would be busting people all the time and THEN you get a situation which is completely unfair.

If you feel like all you get is bad luck (which is really silly considering its random) then stop busting and just slap people for experience.

^All I was trying to say was that the random factor is really silly, since you can fail 11 times in a row. I don't even want to keep on going, because I would waste a full day of energy by sitting in jail.
And yes, I stopped attempting to bust people out because it's a waste of time for a 2% exp (that's how much I got last time).

In my experience, it's about a 10% chance. BigJoe is right, 11 attempts mean nothing, you can't base anything on that. And the 2% isn't standard as well, i had some 12% busts in v1 and i've also seen them on profiles here.

it took me over 40 tries during my first few months to get 1 successful bust im talking 40 failures in a row over a couple months period till last month I finally got a success....

I don't care what anyone says busting is all luck. I've got days without busting a single person and then I have days like yesterday where I busted out four people in a row.

It's just like winning with a scatch card or stealing a car. You either get something or you don't. Only diff being that when busting you're going to jail if you fail.

Since i have made more than 700 busts i tell you that busting is completly random (I thing Boss made the random routine using miliseconds wich is impossible to manipulate). The only thing you can do is trying and trying and trying and then keep trying.
In my opinion its worth it.
1. 15% of energy
2. Average exp 4-5% (min 2 max 11 for me)
3. Cheap brides
As someone said before there are good days and bad days. Yesterday i made 25 busts (That was a good day). Calcuate the 25 busts with the avg exp. Its a 1 1/4 level. The cost was about 6-7K with brides and energy refills.

So keep on trying ;)

Now there is an idea, if someone is in jail and has their prostituion on you can do a conjugal (sp?) visit with them. Pay half price to use them. After all the gym is half as effective so it would only be fair.

Yes it is random to some degree, but it is pretty heavily based on the amount of time in jail the person has when you bust them. A 90 minute bust will get you a higher percentage than a 5 minute bust pretty much every time.

Jail busts used to be based on level back in V1, but this is not the case anymore, for obvious reasons.
