New feature suggestion : Stock market

Hi,

the game need more option to get money. My suggestion is create a stock market.

People can buy or sell shares from Game Companys or the Studios President can sell shares from his studio for example.

Every hour or day the game will set a new stock price for the shares.

Price rules:

Companys : Shop sell profit

1 Day 1000 share price 100
2 Day 1200 share price 105
3 Day 1500 share price 112,5
4 Day 1000 share price 100

Studios: Movie Fame level

1 Day Fame 3 share price 100
2 Day Fame 5 share price 105
3 Day Fame 6 share price 107,5
4 Day Fame 3 share price 100

or something like this

The problem with studio stocks, is that, the studios can be manipulated by their members. Stocks in fictional game companies are alright, just beware of a global recession!

I think stocks would be fun, but I don't think it should be stock in studios.
Could something be created in the city? Such as fake companies that serve no other purpose than being for stock?

Do you see the difference between a game with good economy (strong currency) and a game with trash economy (aka non-existant or pay billions for a smoke).

One can argue that the white-colllar crimes are actually more devastating than rape or murder. :eek:


On a more serious, game-related note, I don't think this is necessary. The game has more than enough avenues to suit your gambling needs. By creating random companies, as was suggested, it is just another more complicated way of gambling.

I want to choice only the shop allready use in the game.

My studio suggestion was, the studio can sell shares to get extra studio money.

But for selling share first the president has to set a dividends for the share.

Now user can by shares, but the studio has to pay on every Month for example dividends. If the studio has not enough money fame level will be lose, or something like this.

Yes you are right. But here in a game it would just be luck and/or study statistics. No possiblilty to influence the market. And if you make possibilitys -> hello abusers.
